This Week's Action Step: Laugh

No matter how hectic life gets, it’s essential to make sure you keep laughter as an ongoing backdrop to all that you do, for a number of reasons:
- it helps us keep a positive outlook on life
- it allows us to keep things in perspective
- it sets a good example for our children
- it keeps us and everyone around us relaxed and in a good mood
- it physiologically reduces stress, resulting in better health
So … no matter how stressful things are for you right now, take small moments this week to remember to laugh. Laugh to yourself, laugh with your children, spouse/partner, family, friends ... even if you don't feel like it, laugh anyway. The old adage "laughter is the best medicine" has more than a grain of truth to it!
